Prioritizing

At certain times in our lives, we must take a step back and make sure our priorities are where they need to be. While I love sharing my thoughts through blogging, it seems to be eating up more time than I can sacrifice during this time in my life. I have a lot on my plate and need to put more focus other places.

Therefore over the next few months I will be cutting back on my posting. I still plan to continue posting "Children's Book Monday," as well as posting once or twice a week additionally. So if you are a daily visitor, just check in weekly with me instead. I hope you guys stick with me!

I will also be blogging twice a month at Jehovah Java, the CWO team blog--I will be there the 12th and 24th of this month.

Blessings!

So true Kelly. And we need to take a look at prioritizing on a regular basis. You won't lose us!

I'm right there with ya, Kelly. I heard a few months ago that the root in Latin for "priority" was always singular. There wasn't even the plural for the word in English until the last 100 years, and we've made it "priorities." The truth is, not everything, or even multiple things, can be "first." It's the wise wife, mom, and woman who recognizes this. :)

May God bless your willingness to step back in order to seek Him more fully!

I have had to reassess my priorities as well. It is hard to not do everything, but we sometimes have to decide what is most important in our lives. Blessings to you!

I completely understand. That's about all I can post and still fulfill other obligations...like feed my kids. I will, ofcourse, be here.

Completely understand. I have been doing the same thing lately. I will be honest with you. It feels really good to cut back a little, for me anyway. We have to live life not just read and write about it!!! :-)

I took a break this past fall and it was the best decision! I really needed to walk away from posting every day.

Looking forward to your weekly posts!

You will be missed, but we all have to put things first that need to be first!

I battle with overblogging too. I have to make a decision what is more important sometimes. :) Enjoy extra time!

Actually, one way that I manage my blogging habit is to read less. I still want to keep up with people, but instead of feeling pulled daily, I do just check in a couple of times a week. It really helps with my time management, so of course I will stick with you!
