Kelly~

We have several things in common:

We've both lived in Knoxville. We both love the beach. We both want to go on missions trips. We both want to reach weight loss goals this year, and we want to celebrate anniversary trips with our husbands . . . ours will be the 15th this year in December.

Loved learning more about you! Mel's WOrld tagged me for this as well, so I'll be doing it in the next couple of days.

You might be interested in my post from Saturday . . . . .

I was a resident assistant in college. Actually an RA for one year and the assistant resident director for 2.

Repeated movies here also include the Princess Bride and Facing the Giants. Little House on the Prarie is also repeated as we have the entire series and it is a favorite of my daughters.

Also hopeful to reach a weight loss goal and praying about possibly homeschooling my daughter. Already homeschool her part time.

I didn't realize we had so much in common!! :-)

How fun to know about the River movie.

I've been thinking of you. Yesterday I started a serious "eating plan" (as I like to call the d-words, because I don't really believe in short-term diets, but long term changes). We'll see how it goes.

I will probably blog about it soon. I'm 10 lbs slimmer than I have been most of my adult life, but I know that with my frame, I could easily shed another 10 (and probably 15 with some more effort!). For me, when I am eating healthy, I lose weight--and I'm eating healthy--isn't that the point?

Wow! You've been busy. I was a Resident Assistant while I was in college. I loved my dorm. Crazy, huh?

OH my Kelly! I am so glad you did this list..... we must live within 15 minutes of each other! And we home-school as well!! Now isn't it a small world!!!!!
We live in Piney Flats...I wonder if we might be crossing paths (in the home-school arena) and just do not realize it!?!?!
How neat.... now isn't this just like GOD to cross paths of his children!!
Blessings to you!!

I would love to hear your homeschooling journey. Why you quit, why you want to start again, etc. I still have a little while and am praying, but am not sure at all what we will end up doing. I am interested in hearing your pros and cons.

Kelly, I am so glad to see that you are blogging again. I hadn't been blogging long when you took your break. Your transformation is amazing! I plan to take some time to look over your posts from the last couple of weeks. I am currently working on losing 10-15 pounds, so I am looking forward to reading all that you have to say! Congratulations!
